Author, actor, performer, teacher. These are just a few of the ways
Charlie LeSueur occupies
his time.
Charlie
started in the entertainment business with his own Salt Lake City
based show, "Hotel Balderdash," on which he played several different
characters; as well as hosting Arizona based shows such as, "Dining
Out In Arizona," "Chrome Highway," and "At Home in Arizona." He has
also appeared in movies and network television programs such as:
"The Highriders," "Good-bye, Franklin High," "The Lucifer Complex,"
"Greatest Heroes of the Bible," and "Mark Twain's America." His most
recent film, "Out of Reach," will be released in the Summer of 2007.
Charlie
has been active in radio for twenty-five years, and is currently
heard & seen on KFHX 1620-AM/KFHX.org, hosting one of the first
shows to feature Independent Country Artists.
Since
1991, Charlie has been hosting celebrity Q & A sessions at one of
the largest western festivals in the world, The National Festival of
the West, as well as Dr. Buck's Wild West Festival at Pioneer
Village in Arizona. He has also added author to his credits. "The
Legends Live On," contains interviews and personal stories from such
celebrities as: Rex Allen, Roy Rogers, Harry Carey, Jr., Ben
Johnson, Gene Autry and many more. His second book, "Riding the
Hollywood Trail," is a carefully researched study about the first 50
years of the "B" westerns and their stars. |
